Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information, though personal information we store about you may be linked to information stored in cookies.

2. How We Use Cookies

StageFinder.Live uses cookies for secure administration. If you choose Allow measurement, Google and Meta may also use first-party advertising identifiers to measure whether an ad led to a useful StageFinder visit. These advertising tools stay off when you decline or when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Our anonymous ZIP search counter does not use cookies and stores only a daily aggregate count for each searched ZIP code.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled.

CookiePurposeDuration
admin_authAdmin authentication — internal use only, not set for regular visitorsUp to 7 days

Privacy-Focused Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page-usage statistics and Vercel Speed Insights for anonymous website-performance measurements. These services are designed not to associate their measurements with an individual visitor or IP address. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party analytics cookies.

Google Measurement and Advertising Cookies

We use the Google tag to measure advertising results. When someone arrives from a Google ad, Google may set first-party cookies that store an advertising-click identifier. We may also use Google AdSense in the future; if ads are active, Google may use cookies as described in Google's policies.

CookiePurposeDuration
_gcl_*Google advertising measurement — stores ad-click information when applicableSet according to Google tag configuration

Meta Advertising Measurement

With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API together to measure page visits and actions such as searches, result views, event or venue views, outbound links, account creation, and app-store clicks. Browser and server copies of the same event use one event identifier so Meta can deduplicate them.

CookiePurposeTypical duration
_fbpDistinguishes browsers for Meta advertising measurementUp to 90 days
_fbcStores a Meta ad-click identifier when a visitor arrives from a Meta adUp to 90 days

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways:

  • Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. See your browser's help documentation for instructions. Note that disabling cookies may affect site functionality.
  • StageFinder Privacy choices: Use the Privacy choices button at the bottom of any page to allow or decline Google and Meta advertising measurement. Declining removes StageFinder-accessible advertising cookies and stops future measurement events from StageFinder.
  • Global Privacy Control: If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, StageFinder treats it as an opt-out and keeps advertising measurement off for that browser.
  • Google Ad personalization: Opt out of personalized Google ads at Google Ad Settings.
  • Meta activity controls: You can review activity shared by businesses in Meta's activity controls.
  • Network Advertising Initiative: Opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at NAI Opt-Out.

5. Third-Party Services

Our analytics, performance, and advertising-measurement providers process limited data to provide their services. Please refer to their privacy information for more details:

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
