StageFinder.Live ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at stagefinder.live (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Information you provide: If you create an account, save venues or artists, save searches, manage a venue or artist profile, or submit an event or venue through our self-submit portal, we collect the information you enter including account email, display name, saved preferences, venue name, address, website URL, contact email, and event details. Contact emails submitted through our forms are used for internal purposes only and are never displayed publicly.
ZIP search information: When you submit an event search on our website, we add that search to a daily aggregate count by five-digit ZIP code. We use these totals to understand where people want StageFinder coverage. We do not attach the ZIP search count to an IP address, account, device, browser, cookie, or precise GPS coordinates, and we do not create an individual search history.
Location information: If you use the "Use my current location" feature, your browser may use your device location to identify a nearby ZIP code and display nearby events. We do not store your precise GPS coordinates. If you then submit a search, only the ZIP code is included in the aggregate count described above.
Automatically collected information: Like most websites, we may collect standard log data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. This information is used for site analytics and security. If you allow advertising measurement, Google and Meta may also receive advertising-click identifiers, first-party measurement identifiers, the page URL, browser and device request details, and the StageFinder actions described below. We do not send Meta your account email, account ID, searched ZIP code, or precise GPS coordinates.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve our Service. This includes:
Google and Meta advertising measurement stay off unless you allow them. A Global Privacy Control signal is treated as an opt-out. You can change your choice through the Privacy choices button at the bottom of the site. For more information, see our Cookie Policy.
We use the information we collect to:
StageFinder.Live aggregates publicly available event information from venue websites through automated scraping for informational and promotional purposes. This scraping is limited to publicly posted event information. We do not scrape or store any personal data from venue websites. If you represent a venue and wish to be removed from our scraping list, please contact us at info@stagefinder.live and we will comply promptly.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some state privacy laws may define advertising measurement or cross-context behavioral advertising as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. StageFinder keeps those tools off until you allow measurement and provides an ongoing opt-out. We may share limited information with:
We retain account information for as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account from your account dashboard at any time. When you delete your account, we delete your login, saved venues, saved artists, saved searches, notification preferences, and account record. Public venue, artist, or event listing information may remain as public listing data, but it will no longer be connected to your account. We retain submission contact information for as long as necessary to manage the submitted venue or event listing. Log data is retained for a limited period for security and analytics purposes. Daily ZIP search totals may be retained to compare demand over time because they are aggregate counts that cannot be connected to an individual visitor.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Account holders can delete their account directly from the account dashboard. You can also make a request by contacting us at info@stagefinder.live.
Use the Privacy choices button at the bottom of any page to decline future Google and Meta advertising measurement. StageFinder also honors a browser Global Privacy Control signal by keeping advertising measurement off for that browser. If you later decline, StageFinder removes advertising cookies it can access and stops sending future measurement events; providers may retain prior data under their own policies.
Colorado residents may have additional rights under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). To submit a data subject access request, visit: Submit a Data Request.
Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Service contains links to venue websites, ticket platforms, and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
